LEGO Games: 25-Year Retrospective Poster

The Brief

To support the launch of LEGO’s Bits N’ Bricks podcast, I was commissioned to design a visual timeline celebrating 25 years of LEGO video games. The final piece needed to feel celebratory and editorial—a single digital poster that honored LEGO’s gaming legacy with clarity and style.

The Approach

Instead of a flat infographic or rigid grid, the layout follows a loose, perspective-shifted path—guiding the viewer from the past to the present. This subtle depth adds movement and narrative flow, echoing the feeling of progression through LEGO’s evolving game universe. The piece was carefully curated rather than comprehensive, focusing on select milestones to maintain visual clarity.

Execution

I designed the entire poster: layout, hierarchy, typography, and the visual rhythm of the timeline itself. As the project evolved, I helped adjust pacing and content selection—trimming the list of games while preserving flow and balance.

Why It Matters

This project reflects my ability to turn abstract milestones into visual storytelling. It combines art direction, content design, and production detail into a piece that feels both playful and precise—true to LEGO’s brand voice and audience.
